The great Nodaway River Adventure of May 17, 2009

On Sunday the kids had a great idea.

So we went to Mozingo & played in the sand...

Then we went home, packed a picnic & set out on a real live adventure out in the country, following the river to see where it goes...

We're going on a bear hunt...

Mother's Day weekend...

Madeline is helping scrape her new hutch (recent yard sale fabulous find).We have scraped & primed...now for the fun part-to be continued!Noah Baker working on his trains. Pretty flowers from my girlfriends (on my recent 33rd)...

May storms...

The clouds started moving in yesterday, in the middle of the sunniest day! Pretty soon the wind picked up & it started to rain... then hail....

and like that...it ended!with only a tiny bit of rain drops left in the very last cloud... the kiddos danced until bath time!
Before our summer dance party there was a jam session inside.

First weekend in May

Fun Fest was this weekend @ Sam's school; it was jam packed full of...well...fun! Madeline & Sam both had their hair sprayed like 'rockers'. Bobby Bearcat & Spoofy
