Aw, sibling love at it's finest:
Madeline's (6) interpretation of our family:
The giant figure is Noah Baker.
He is an "Evil Robot"...the figures below from left to right are: Daddy/Mommy/Madeline/Sam (looks just like all of us!)
With the evil Noah Giant Robot stomping on everyone from above.
Any guesses on how much this will cost in therapy someday?
Moving on to Noah Baker's (4) picture.
This depiction of our family:
Sam as a Super Hero, saying, "Swhooosh!" as he "flies to help free people from the evil Madeline."
Next we have Noah as a Super Hero, saying, "Swhoosh as he flies to help free people from the evil Madeline."
Now we have Noah's drawing of Madeline.
Noah drawing his picture: Mommy?
Amy: Yes?
NB: How do you spell AH-HA-HA-HA-HA?
NB: How do you spell AH-HA-HA-HA-HA?
Amy: Like a funny laugh 'ah ha ha ha ha'?
NB: No, like a really bad guy AH HA HA HA HA.
Amy: Oh, that's A..........H............A...............H............A (as he's spelling it out next to Madeline's picture).
Amy: (Now looking at Noah's picture): Noah this is awesome! Wow, do you guys all have capes on? (Pointing to all three figures)
NB: No, just me & Sam because Madeline is an evil bad-guy, see? She say's: "AHAHAHAHA" and me & Sam say, "SWooooosh!" because we are the good guys!
Noah Baker's thoughts of a big sister lately...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sibling rivalry was halted by the thoughts of home-made-apple-pie! We LOVE Aunt Virginia's apples!!!
It's like Sam says, "Everything tastes better when you poke it with a stick."
Well, in this case, this weekend....everything was better after pie.
Sunday Adventure at Serenity Loop!
With Sam upstairs with the big boys watching the Chief's play, this is what Madeline & Noah Baker decided to do this afternoon ~
Madeline spent some time writing & singing a song about "Hannah Bright", NOT Hannah Montana ~ clearly different people. :)
I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing....
I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing....
I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing, I'm singing....
Noah Baker!
Noah spying w/ his Clark Kent jacket on & spy binoculars...
Giggle -hahahahahaha-giggle!
Giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle!
Giggle -hahahahahaha-giggle!
Giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle!
Giggle -hahahahahaha-giggle!
Giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle!
Sam's poem
That's Me
Sam Ferguson-3rd grade
My hands are life's pencil.
My hair is short,
My eyes are blue,
My arms are long,
My mind is too.
My heart is for my mom and dad.
I am fast, and never been bad,
My friends are nice and I dream of ghosts,
I live in a cozy house that I just love the most.
A Kansas Sunday Adventure!
We Ferguson's hit the road & met up with our Prescott friends over on the Kansas side for our Sunday Adventure this weekend.
Everyone had an idea of where we should go first...
Madeline was eager to ride a horse again (last time was @ Grandpa Curt's house). Her horse had "very pretty blue eyes" & Noah had his first horse-back-ride...and loved it!
This cow was SUPER friendly & hungry. He took a liking to Noah Baker, giving Noah a giant cow-kiss (ew!).
These baby goats were just the cutest, we each had a turn bottle feeding these hungry kids! We decided it was time to continue on when one of the goats started munching on Rob's truck key, snacking on the back of Madeline's pants, and nipping at my shorts!
Noah Baker...according to the map..... :)
Oh the joy of life cycle discussions. :)
there she goes
There she goes...
Madeline was MAD that she couldn't go over to Grandpa/Grandma's (on her terms right then and there). So, she did what every other 6-year-old STRONG WILLED CHILD would do. She decided to walk (or stomp rather) to Grandpa/Grandma's. She knew the way. Well, luckily it ended rather quietly (although that is really the perception of each party involved!) and most importantly~safely.
She recovered rather quickly as the kids decided to camp out in the backyard.
A fire was built in the fire-pit, the tent was put up, the sleeping bags gathered (thank you Uncle Dan for the best Christmas presents EVER), pillows, and bug spray.
About 10pm these three kiddos gathered flashlights/books & turned in for the night. Rob joined them about midnight, and we all met again early Saturday morning. As for the writer; she stayed in her lovely air-conditioned house with her pillow & cat.
And that dear reader, was that!
