I see your lack of compassion and raise you a smile . . .

The VA Hospital in Tucson offered zero compassion . . . so she created her own.

Madeline loses her 1st tooth!

Madeline loses her very first tooth! Hurray!!! She thought she was the only, only only only only ONLY almost 2nd grader that had all her teeth. Every morning for the past few months. "Mommy? (Deep sigh) I STILL have all my teeth in my head."

Summer!

Going through the end-of-the-year- backpack "stuff" ... this made me smile!

 I love it . . .
Flower girls helping Julie pick the right "tossing" flowers : D

Madeline: "OhmyOMG Mommy, I     am     SO  pretty!"

Trying out her sweet-sweet dance moves . . .

Awww .... Julie looked like such a princess!

Getting all dolled up and ready to throw flowers!

Baker beating me @ Monopoly . . .

Uhm . . .
Preschool end of the school year musical ... POOR NOAH B!!!!! He had terrible stage fright :(

This picture is so sad! (Thankfully Grandpa and Grandma made it ALL better with Dairy Queen :)
Madeline makes me smile!

This just cracks me up, a random flower from the yard .... in a random little glass bottle (whatever I could find for water and a stem) ... labeled things like "WARNING!" and "TOXIC!" Hahaha! Sam makes my heart smile :).

Poor Sam .... we went QUITE a ways out of the way (remind us to NEVER take Finch Meadow Trail again, ever ever ever .... b/c it NEVER stops). He was super hot/muggy/tired...I totally understand! But it was still a little funny, I'm evil and documented it ;).

More Martin folk :)

Conner!!! (Well done Brian and Miranda .... he is SUPER cute!)

According to Noah, THIS is the perfect burrito. He made it himself, with his favorite ingredients. I'm not sure why I think this is so cute, but it just made me smile.

Romance Tips

"Sam Ferguson's Everything I know about Romance
       Tips (Series 1 of 5)"

First: Make an impression. Say that she is pretty and smart and all that stuff.

Second: You need to make sure she can rely on you. She can depend on you not to break her heart. And like you know, that you'll protect her and all that stuff.

Third: Be inquisitive. Be alert and funny, smart and also you need to remember to wear deodorant, shower every night, and wear cologne.

Fourth: ALWAYS open the door for her no matter what, and make sure. Now this is important, don't forget to write this one down, you HAVE to I mean H-A-V-E to make sure she is inside with the door shut, the light on, and looking out the window waving at you before you can drive away. You have to make sure she is safe and sound.

Fifth: Go out wearing cool stuff, not good clothes or church clothes, like cool stuff. A plain shirt, leather jacket, motorcycle boots, and a dirt bike.

Sixth: Take her to a romantic movie, or a movie that she picks, just pretend to like it.

Seventh: Take her to prom. And DO NOT step on her feet. Be an expert dancer.

Eighth: When you driver her home, listen to her girly music, open her car door, walk with her to her front house door, kiss her cheek and then leave.

The end!
